How much is the training (MTC)?
$395 for riders under 21 (must take MTC prior to obtaining a permit)
$425 for riders 21 and older.

What is provided with the training (MTC)?
You must provide sturdy pants (jeans) with no rips or holes or flares, boots, long sleeve upper garment, glasses or shield eye coverage. See Policy page.
Can I use my motorcycle/scooter in the training (MTC)?
Personal scooters of all sizes are welcome and too must be in good condition, registered and insured.
Furthermore, the rider must be over 21 and possess a valid motorcycle permit/license to use their vehicle.
What is needed to enroll in the training (MTC)?
- current/valid California DMV issued driver license
- current/valid California DMV issued learners permit
- current/valid California DMV issued Identification Card
- or, a current/valid Passport
My driver license is from another state. Is that going to be OK?
What about an International driver license, will that be OK?
If I am under the age of 18 do I need a parent to sign a waiver?
Assuming I pass, when will I receive my DL389 Certificate of Completion?
